Mathlin.co.uk has upgraded its webhosting capabilities for this years christmas celebrations. We have switched to a Intel I3 based machine with 8GB of DDR3 ram and a 1TB hard drive, this is running Ubuntu server 14.04.3. We have some custome linuix softwear to run the cameras, we also have a lot of custome written PHP scripts to controll the lights as well as other aspects of the site. Switching to this server will increase our stability and allow us to server far more concurrent users at the same time.

 

We are running a Dell 850 server in my house running Ununtu server as well to perform local commands that will tell the controller nodes what to do.
